Some Differences:


The two International Airports Gatwick and Heathrow situated in London are in the list the of busiest Airports in terms of passengers. Most of the passengers mostly use Heathrow airport and Heathrow is the London busiest Airport but Gatwick airport is  mostly used for charter planes. People coming from all over the globe use either of the airport that suits best to their their travelling route that which airport gives them the shortest travelling period.
Gatwick Airport has the popularity as it is situated in the central London and has best access to all of the areas in London via train and bus services. Both the airport serves their passengers 24/7, Heathrow airport is the fourth busiest airport in terms of passengers and Gatwick airport is the busiest single runwy airport. Gatwick airport is mostly use for charter planes and Heathrow airport has the aerodrome license which allows public transport flights. 
Runways:
                Both these international airports has got two runways, and one runway of Heathrow Airport used for flying purpose and the other for landing purpose buy Gatwick airport used only single runway as both the runways are very closed to each other. Both these airports have good access to road and railway but Heathrow airport provides much facilities with taxis and railway options then Gatwick airport.Both these airports provides short and long term meet and greet parking services and the yards are at a very suitable distance with the terminals and passengers can easily cover the distance by walk. The management of these Airports doing a great job in terms of security and providing all the facilities that families need while traveling from check in to playing area and changing area for the children.
